The ‘Patriot Express loan’ program started in 2007 to help military veterans get loans  for expanding their small businesses. The loan amount normally ranges up-to $500,000. Now, the SBA is reminding businesses that it offers this loan program so as to help them start or expand their business operations.

SBA-guaranteed loans as offered by the ‘Patriot Express program’ go to veterans, reservists and their spouses for expansion of small companies that they have established. The loan can be used for other purposes too that include purchase of equipment and inventory as may be the requirement!

Since the launch of the program, 7,650 veterans have received $633 million in SBA-guaranteed loans. This grant is being offered nationwide to veterans through a SBA network of participating lenders.
